The writer James Howard Kunstler - he of cutting, insightful, funny, big-picture fusillades on urbanism and strip-mall America - thinks we all need to change just about everything we’re doing, from our civic souls to our building practices. If you give his famous books Geography of Nowhere and Home from Nowhere a fair reading, you’ll think so too.
I just discovered his blog, including this recent post which dovetails the current Democratic campaign, the racialist atrocities of WWII, and his thesis of The Long Emergency.
On second thought, by definition can you ‘dovetail’ three things, or only two??
